2007 DC Addy Awards

MARCH 16, 2007 - BETHESDA, MD
Amidst a Christopher Guest-themed Best in Show evening of fun and show dogs to honor the DC ad community, Rosenthal Partners took home 24 awards, including Best in Category for Print, at the 2007 ADDY Awards.
In a sea of Goliaths in the ad industry and local clients with out-of-market agencies, Rosenthal Partners was the only local ad agency to take home a Best in Category honor. The award, for the Washington Improv Theater campaign, took a tongue-in-cheek approach to promoting improvisation as art, with headlines like “We’re classically trained in the fine art of making sh*t up.”
The Agency received 15 Addys and 9 certificates of excellence in recognition of performance for print, collateral, out-of-home, consumer trade, advertising for the arts and sciences, and elements of advertising. “We’re excited about this most recent success. We always feel good about the work but it’s great to have a community of our peers reinforce it. Next year, we plan to best the out-of-towners in interactive and broadcast as well,” says Rosenthal Partners creative director Jim Lansbury.
Rosenthal Partners has long been a local champion for strong advertising. “We’ve always felt that DC has the potential to be a national creative contender, and are proud to have a client base that supports strong work,” said president Dan Rosenthal.
