New Home purchasers or homeowners who are renovating or redecorating. Adults ages: 30 – 54.
Approach
Television and magazine are used to communicate awareness, quality and service. ROP and FSI are used to communicate price and drive retail traffic. Direct mail, targeted to new homeowners, is used to communicate awareness and generate sales.
Strategic Positioning
Shopping at Next Day Blinds, a consumer will get a full-range of shopping experiences from a high quality player in the affordable window coverings category. A consumer will have a shopping experience that's "exactly right".
Result
Market share increased from 30% to 45% over five years. Sales increased 15% over the previous year with additional growth in Shop At Home and ecommerce channels.
